The standard dimensions of Nicomac modular cleanroom panels are: width 1,250 mm, overall height from 3 to 4.2 meters, and total thickness 45 mm. Additional wall heights can be achieved using a stacking technique. The self-supporting and insulated walls are assembled with an internal aluminum framework.

The seams of the modular cleanroom wall panels are silicone-sealed with a perfectly flush finish. The insulating materials are placed between the two outer skins and sealed externally by the aluminum framework. A selection of insulation materials and wall skins is available to meet various requirements in the construction of modular cleanrooms.

High-pressure HPL laminate is the ideal material for cleanroom wall and ceiling panels. Nicomac’s HPL modular cleanroom walls are made of two layers of high-pressure plastic laminate, composed of cellulose fiber sheets impregnated with resin and subjected to a high-pressure process. This process, which involves the simultaneous application of heat and pressure, causes the resins to fluidize and polycondense, resulting in a homogeneous, scratch-resistant, non-porous, antibacterial material that can be modified for flush integration with any accessory. The panel is fully sealed with an aluminum frame.

Cleanroom Glass Walls

Full visibility of cleanroom areas provided by modular cleanroom glass walls is an increasingly common requirement in international standards. By reducing the need for access inside the cleanrooms, Nicomac glass wall systems minimize contamination sources linked to the operators themselves. At the same time, these solutions improve the work environment by increasing brightness, thereby promoting greater focus in managing operations in areas with fully glass walls.

Nicomac glass walls for cleanrooms can be supplied in any required size. With our MI 8009A001281 patent, the glass can be easily installed and removed for equipment integration without the need to remove ceiling and floor profiles. In the pharmaceutical sector, FDA inspectors positively view glass walls as they allow inspections of cleanroom system areas without the need to enter, thus avoiding any contamination risk.

For secondary areas, Nicomac has developed an open-space cleanroom partition wall, partially or fully glazed, with dedicated rounded aluminum profiles.

Nicomac Mangini manufactures and installs cleanroom wall panels made of galvanized steel, powder-coated with a thickness of 0.8 mm, covered with 100µ PVC to ensure high mechanical protection.

High mechanical resistance due to the increased thickness and PVC coating.

Panels available in thicknesses of 45 mm – 82 mm, with built-in air intakes.

Resistance to low humidity and high fluctuations in ambient humidity.

Liquid uPVC sealing is available as an alternative to silicone.
